Parent Resources for Remote Learning Tools
The Tennessee Department of Education and Trevecca University announced a new resource, Bridging the Distance: Family Remote Learning, which is specially designed to help families navigate remote learning and better understand the common tools and programs used by educators. Please feel free to check out some of these resources that might help with the virtual experience!
Substitute Teacher Training for Henderson County Schools will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Watson Emergency Management Building, 50 Natchez Trace Dr.
Any new substitute applicant is required to attend this training. Pre-registration for the training is NOT required. Substitutes must be at least 21 years of age and complete an application, which will be available at the training. After the initial paperwork is completed, a successful background check and interview will be required before being placed on the substitute teacher list. Public Chapter 708-Child Abuse Coordinator
The social, emotional, and physical well- being of all of our students is important at Pin Oak School. In order to protect and support our students and to be in compliance with Public Chapter 708, Lindsey Pilkenton, our school counselor, is our designated Child Abuse Coordinator.
